After a pair of tough road tests, Lakeland University is back home and faces another key Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference test when it hosts Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Urban Field in Sheboygan.

The Muskies (4-2 overall, 2-0 NACC) play the first of their final two home games on the home field of Sheboygan North High School. Lakeland also will play in Sheboygan for the first time since 1970, a span of 46 years since a 9-6 loss to Ferris State (Mich.) on Sept. 19, 1970 at the former Legion Park, which was formerly known as Memorial Park.

The Muskies are coming off a big 32-29 win on the road against Benedictine. Eldrada Meeks (So.-Southfield, Mich.) scored on a 54- yard touchdown run with 4:58 left in the game, providing an answer after the Eagles had just retaken the lead. The defense then bowed up at just the right time, holding after Benedictine drove deep into Lakeland territory and forcing a 41-yard Eagles' field goal attempt in the final minute sailed wide right.

Wisconsin Lutheran (2-4 overall, 2-1 NACC) defeated Concordia Wisconsin 26-14 last week at home to retain the Lutheran Bowl trophy that the two teams play for. Jared Bruemmer rushed for 193 yards and also caught a touchdown pass as WLC rolled up 319 yards rushing and 439 yards of total offense. The Warriors also shut down a Falcons offense that gained 608 yards the week before against Benedictine, limiting Concordia to 248 yards, including just 20 yards rushing on 29 attempts.

Ticket prices for Saturday are the same as for any Muskies home games: $5 for adults, $3 for college students and senior citizens and $1 for youth in grades K-12. Lakeland University faculty, staff and students will be admitted free with their school I.D. Concessions will be served at the game and tailgating is allowed on site, but alcohol and tobacco are not allowed per Sheboygan school policy.
