MEQUON – Mitchell Fucile (Sr.-Chilton, Wis.) scored a tough win by decision to lead the Lakeland University wrestling team in a 43-9 loss to Concordia University Wisconsin Wednesday night at the R. John Buuck Field House.

Chilton defeated Eric Martinson by a 10-5 score at 165 pounds to give the Muskies their lone win on the mat on the evening. Concordia won eight of 10 matches, including five by fall and two more by technical fall.

Zackary Jones (Fr.-Kingsford, Mich.) picked up Lakeland's other win, a forfeit at 133 lbs. The Muskies' closest defeat came at 149 lbs. where Ian Gioacchini (Jr.-Kaukauna, Wis.) lost a close 4-2 decision to CUW's Miguel Betancourt.

Lakeland is in action again Saturday in Oshkosh when it competes in the Gable Open hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Matches begin at 10 a.m.
