Muskies fans will have their choice of home venues Wednesday when the Lakeland University men's soccer and women's volleyball teams both are in action this evening for home matches in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play.
The Lakeland men's soccer team will host Wisconsin Lutheran College for a match under the lights at Taylor Field beginning at 7 p.m. The Muskies women's volleyball team also host Milwaukee School of Engineering for a match inside the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium at the same time at 7 p.m.
The men's soccer team (0-5 overall) is looking for its first win of the season in its NACC opener. Lakeland has been idle since a 4-1 loss to Maranatha Baptist eight days ago where
John Bentler (So.-Seattle, Wash.) scored the team's first goal this season.
The Muskies women's volleyball team (3-11 overall, 0-1 NACC) aims to get back on track in its second conference match of the season after finishing 1-3 this past weekend at the UW-Eau Claire Nike Eastbay Fall Classic. Lakeland defeated St. Scholastica (Minn.) in its tourney opener Friday before three losses, the last coming against nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) in four sets Saturday afternoon.
For those who can't be in attendance for either event, live stats and live video will be available for both matches atÂ
