LAKELAND ATHLETICS MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of the Lakeland Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to provide a framework in which student- athletes can confirm values, practice teamwork, demonstrate sportsmanship, and experience personal responsibility. This mission will be carried out within the framework of the NCAA Division III philosophy and the mission of the University, which promotes to educate women and men of diverse backgrounds, preparing them to think critically, to communicate effectively, to succeed professionally, and to lead ethical, purposeful and fulfilling lives.
