Brent Luebke is among the most prolific quarterbacks in Lakeland history, finishing third in career passing yards (6,478), total offense (7,346), passing completions (540), and passing attmepts (992) and fifth in career passing touchdowns (48). After being honorable mention as a freshman, second-team as a sophomore, and first-team all-IBFC as a junior, Luebke was the 2003 Illini-Badger Football Conference Player of the Year as a senior and led the 2003 Muskies to an 8-2 finish, the team's best record since the 1997 season. In addition to his prowess on the gridiron, Luebke competed on the basketball team all four years he was on campus, serving as team captain on two conference championship teams.
