Mission House athletic director and coach from 1932-37, he was the father of Lakeland’s intercollegiate athletic program and came up with the nickname Muskies. He organized the cross country and basketball teams in 1932, led the football program into joining the Tri-State Conference in 1933 and started the track and tennis programs.
