Lakeland University Athletics

John served as head football coach from 1967-80. His teams finished 78-53-2 and won seven conference championships, including five in a row from 1967-71. He founded the Illini-Badger Intercollegiate Football Conference. He was head baseball coach in 1972 and 1977-80. He was track moderator from 1967-70 and his teams won three conference championships. He was assistant basketball coach during the same years.
