Lakeland’s quarterback from 1994-1997, Mark Novara was one of the most prolific passers in school history. He holds six of eight school passing records which include: career completions (894), passing yards (11,295) and passing TD's (101). He also holds single-season records for yards (3,405) and touchdowns (40). He is also the leader in completions (42) and yards in a game (508). In 1996 he was named a second team NCAA Division III All-American and collected numerous personal honors. He quarterbacked the 10-0 team in 1997.
