Shelby Welsh (Ogallala, Neb.) also is a recipient of the Muskie of the Week award after an excellent week for the Lakeland women's volleyball team. The junior outside hitter and transfer from Eastern Wyoming Community College totaled 40 kills, 39 digs and four service aces over four matches as the Muskies went 3-1 on the week. She posted 14 kills in a big win over conference foe Edgewood and matched her season high with 15 kills Saturday in a five-set win over Maranatha Baptist.
