Sami Jo Williams (Fr.-Sussex, Wis.) shot her best round of the fall to lead the Lakeland College women's golf team at the Marian University Quadrangular held Sunday at Whispering Springs Golf Course.

Williams scored a round of 99 on the par-72 course measured at 5,802 yards, placing third individually in the event. She helped Lakeland finish with a team score of 434, behind champion Marian (413) but ahead of Wisconsin Lutheran College (449) and Edgewood College (482).

Williams led the Muskies individually for the first time this season and helped give Lakeland a pair of finishers in the top four.
