Zelmarious, is a freshman defensive back for the Muskies from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He leads the team and NACC in interceptions and has totaled 25 tackles, five interceptions, and six pass breakups this season. Banks made headlines with a record-breaking performance against Concordia Chicago, returning two interceptions for touchdowns—including a 100-yard return—and setting a new NCAA Division III record with 175 interception return yards. For his efforts, he earned NACC Defensive Player of the Week and national recognition on the D3football.com Team of the Week, quickly establishing himself as one of Division III’s top defensive playmakers.
