Justin Ward (Sr.-Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) has been named Muskie of the Week!

Ward averaged 23.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in three games last week. The 6-9 forward shot 58.1% from the field and 86.4% from the free throw line in leading the Muskies to a 2-1 record on the week.

Ward scored a career-high 34 points and added 10 rebounds this past Thursday in a 97-86 win over Concordia University Wisconsin, making 10 of 14 shots from the field and 14 of 15 free throws. He also recorded double-doubles in a 79-60 win over Dominican (Ill.) University on Saturday (23 points, 12 rebounds) and in a 62-60 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College on Tuesday (13 points, 10 rebounds).

He was also named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week, it was announced Monday by the conference office. Ward received the honor for the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.
