Lakeland College freshman wrestler Mitchell Fucile (Chilton, Wis.) is our Muskie of the Week! Fucile finished second in his weight class at the Cornell College Matman Invitational. 

Fucile placed second at 165 lbs., the best performance of the day for Lakeland, which finished seventh of nine teams at the wrestling meet.

Fucile won via fall over Ben Dieg of Augustana (Ill.) College, advanced on a 12-7 decision over Eric Vis of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and then won by a 15-7 major decision over Sean Huls of UW-La Crosse in the semifinals. He wrestled Tyler Schneider of UW-La Crosse in a very competitive championship match, falling by a 3-1 score.
