Freshman Brianna Johnson (Green Bay, Wis.)-no relation to the Lakeland women's volleyball player of the same name-is one of the initial Muskie of the Week award winners to start the 2016-17 school year. Johnson scored four goals in her second collegiate match on Labor Day weekend in a win over Rockford on Sept. 4. She has scored six goals and has two assists for 14 points in the Muskies' first four matches of the season, and as of Sept. 13 she leads the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in points and is tied for the conference lead in goals.
