MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin scored four times in the first half and the Lakeland College women's soccer season came to a close with a 4-0 loss Wednesday afternoon.
Concordia completed an undefeated run through the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season, improving to 14-2-2 overall and 10-0 in the league play. The Muskies finished their season with a 4-16 overall mark and a 1-9 NACC record.
The Falcons scored twice in the first nine minutes, with Emily Cieselczyk tallying first just 2:57 in and Halie Schieffer following up a rebound at 8:18 of the match. Concordia also added goals by Carley Pfannerstill in the 26th and 44th minutes on the way to a four-goal halftime margin.
Lakeland held the hosts scoreless in the second half. The Falcons attempted 18 shots in the second half, including 10 in the first 15 minutes of the half.
The Muskies' lone shot attempt in the game came in the second half.
Maddy Schone-Knoll (
So.-Roscoe, Ill.) put a shot on goal late that was stopped by CUW keeper Tabitha Ortiz.

Sr.-Green Bay, Wis.) combined to save 15 shots in the match. Carter made eight saves in the first half while Noll stopped seven shots in the second half.
