The Lakeland College women's volleyball team gets its shot at the best team in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference when it faces top-seeded Edgewood College Thursday night in an NACC Tournament semifinal match at 7 p.m. at the Todd Wehr Edgedome in Madison.

The fourth-seeded Muskies (17-14 overall) spotted Aurora a set before rallying to defeat the Spartans in four sets Tuesday night in the NACC tourney quarterfinals. Lakeland prevailed 20-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-18, avenging a quarterfinal loss to Aurora last year and sweeping the season series between the teams. Courtney Naser continued her roll with 12 kills,
Brittini Scoles added 10 kills,
Caleigh Galvan notched 30 digs and
Taylor Levitt finished with 38 assists.

Edgewood (23-9 overall) won the NACC regular season title with an 11-0 mark, clinching a bye into the semifinals of the conference tournament. last time out: The Eagles' last matches were played nearly a week ago, when they hosted St. Norbert and Wheaton (Ill.) for a triangular on Halloween. Edgewood won both matches, sweeping St. Norbert in three sets and outlasting Wheaton in five sets to win for the 14th time in 15 matches.
