MEQUON – Concordia University Wisconsin applied consistent pressure from the start and pulled away late in the first half on the way to defeating the shorthanded Lakeland University men's soccer team 12-0 Wednesday afternoon in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match.

Colin Dibb scored three times, including twice in the first half, and Dagoberto Diaz also added two goals in the first half as the Falcons remained among the NACC's leaders, improving to 6-1 in conference play (7-3-3 overall). Lakeland dropped to 0-12 overall and is now 0-7 in the NACC.

Concordia finished with 53 shot attempts, including 29 shots on goal. Seven different players scored a goal and 11 players recorded at least one point for the Falcons.

Thomis Mannebach (Sr.-Florence, Wis.) was busy in goal and made 17 saves, including nine in the first half. Charles Apostolik (Jr.-New Castle, Colo.) got free for the Muskies' lone shot attempt in the 34th minute which went wide of the goal. Lakeland played short for the match with just 13 players able to make the trip.

The Muskies are on the road again Saturday when the travel to face Aurora University at 7:30 p.m. Lakeland will also be home Sunday when it hosts Finlandia (Mich.) University for a 4:30 p.m. first kick at Taylor Field.
