MILWAUKEE – The Lakeland University men's soccer team finished its season with another tough assignment and was defeated by Milwaukee School of Engineering 13-0 Wednesday night in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match.
The Muskies saw a trying season come to a close, finishing 0-16 overall and 0-10 in the NACC. MSOE improved to 10-6 overall and 6-4 in the NACC, avenged a loss to Lakeland last year in the regular season, and wrapped up the fifth seed in the upcoming NACC Tournament.
The Raiders finished with a big 48-5 advantage in shots and scored nine times in the first half, including four goals in a span of 6 minutes, 7 seconds late in the half to take an 8-0 lead.
Braden Andryk scored three times for MSOE and reserve Joe Oswald also added a goal plus five assists to tie a school single-game record.
The Muskies had their best chance just before halftime when
John Bentler (
So.-Seattle, Wash.) got off a shot on goal just before halftime that was saved. Defender
Nate Cooper (
Sr.-Monrovia, Liberia) also posted a shot on goal in the second half.
Charles Apostolik (
Jr.-New Castle, Colo.),
Dylan Lange (
Jr.-Geneva, Ill.) and
Kenichi Yamamoto (
Sr.-Shibuya, Japan) also all added shot attempts.
The match was the final one for senior

Jordan Salm (
Jr.-Sheboygan, Wis.) went the distance in goal and made 15 saves.
The match also was the final one for five other Muskies seniors in their first year with the program, including Cooper, Yamamoto,
