The Lakeland women's tennis team closed out its season with a 9-0 loss to visiting Concordia University Wisconsin Saturday at Sports Core in Kohler, Wis.
 
The Muskies finish the season 5-8 overall, 4-6 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play and finished just shy of making the six-team NACC Tournament. CUW improves to 10-1, 9-1 in the NACC and will be the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament next spring.
 
Senior Ann Schroeder (Lake Mills, Wis.) had the closest singles match, losing to Kelly Bailey, 6-2, 6-1.
 
It was Senior Day, and the final match for Schroeder and Emma Schad (Sheboygan Falls, Wis.)
