As we prepare for the first athletics contests of the 2020-21 academic year, we want to share that Lakeland will be following its COVID-19 protocols when hosting indoor winter sports contests. Unfortunately, this means we won't be able to host fans for these games.

This policy will periodically be reviewed as we continue to monitor CDC, state and local Public Health guidelines, in conjunction with our institutional COVID-19 safety guidelines, as it pertains to Lakeland University Athletics implementing and delivering a safe and healthy game management experience.

Our men's basketball team hosts North Central University this Saturday, January 16, at 3 p.m. to get the season underway. All home contests will be live streamed on our athletics website. When our teams are on the road, you can access the host school's live streams by visiting the schedule pages of our sports teams on the LU Athletics website.

We will revisit hosting fans for our outdoor sport teams spring seasons in the future.
