FOREST PARK, Ill. – The Lakeland University women's tennis team earned its second Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference dual win of the season with a 7-2 victory over Dominican University Sunday.

Kallie Hoeft (So.-Cascade, Wis.), Bobainah Cha (So.-Milwaukee, Wis.) and Morgan Erbstoesser (So.-Union, Ill.) all were double-winners as the Muskies rebounded from a loss to Marian Saturday to win five of six singles matches and two of three in doubles, improving to 2-4 overall on the season and in NACC play.

Hoeft defeated Dominican's Stephanie Anhalt 6-0, 6-4 at Number 3 singles and also paired up with Jessica Leicht (Jr.-Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) at No. 2 doubles for an 8-3 win over Anhalt and Jacqueline Candelas.

Cha routed Alyssa Fahner 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Erbstoesser scored one of two three-set wins, coming back to defeat Cali Carlson 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles. Cha and Erbstoesser also were a team at No. 3 doubles and scored an 8-3 win over Carlson and Fahner.

Sadie Conway (Fr.-Monroe, Wis.) also added a three-set win at No. 2 singles, outlasting Julia Hochstatter 6-4, 3-6, 10-4. Conway and Baylee Babcock (Fr.-Mauston, Wis.) also came up just short of a No. 1 doubles win, falling to Hochstatter and Sharon Neiza 8-6.

Lakeland is idle the rest of this week and will return to play next Sunday when it hosts Concordia University Wisconsin at Sports Core in Kohler.
