KOHLER, Wis. – Wisconsin Lutheran College swept all nine matches to defeat Lakeland University in a men's tennis dual Saturday morning on the indoor courts at Sports Core.

The Muskies remained winless in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference after a 9-0 loss to the Warriors. Lakeland also is now 1-10 overall this season (0-5 NACC) with two regular season matches to play.

The Warriors (8-6 overall, 3-1 NACC) largely controlled play, winning every set in singles and all three doubles matches. The Muskies' best showing came at Number 1 doubles, where Jacob Larson (Sr.-Wauwatosa, Wis.) and Nick Larson (So.-Sheboygan, Wis.) battled before falling 8-5 to Aidan Newberg and Evan Sadowski.

Jacob Larson won three games in his No. 2 singles match with Newberg before falling 6-2, 6-1. Luke Roe (Fr.-Plymouth, Wis.) was defeated 6-1, 6-1 by Bryce Halvorsen at No. 5 singles, and Roe and Alessandro Bianchi (Jr.-Venice, Italy) dropped an 8-2 decision to Halvorsen and Matt Bass at No. 3 doubles.

Lakeland now has a two-week break before it faces Marian University Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m. at Sports Core.
