The Lakeland University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be conducting a food drive at a pair of Muskies home athletics events this week as it takes part in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Cans Across the Conference initiative.

Lakeland's SAAC will collected canned food items at the Lakeland women's volleyball match Thursday night against Alverno College, and also will collect cans at the Muskies football game Saturday against nationally ranked Aurora University. Items brought will be donated to the Sheboygan County Food Bank.

Items can be brought to a table near the entry gate at both events, and a raffle ticket will be given for every can brought, with the opportunity to win an NACC T-Shirt. Those attending are also requested to wear pink for the games as part of a Pink Out for breast cancer awareness.
