The Lakeland University football program will host its 19th annual Football Fundamental Camp in July for youth, and registrations are being accepted at this time.

The camp will take place July 23-25 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day and is for youth going into grades 4-8. The camp is for athletes who are just learning the skills necessary to participate in football in a competitive manner. It will focus on techniques and fundamentals for all positions. There will be offensive and defensive sessions to give campers exposure to positions on each side of the ball and instruction will also be given in punting and kicking. Basic fundamentals will be the focus of the camp.

The cost for the camp is $150 with lunch provided. Participants also will receive a camp T-shirt on the first day but are responsible for their own shoes, socks, shorts and shirt. Campers should also bring non-cleated athletic shoes in case of inclement weather.
