2018: Played in 12 games, starting 10... Batted .265 with nine hits in 34 at bats, including one double, three runs batted in and three runs scored... Also pitched in relief in three games, posting a 0-1 record... In three innings pitched allowed seven hits and 10 runs (nine earned) with two strikeouts and two walks.

2017: Played in 27 games as a freshman, starting 26… Batted .253 with 24 hits in 95 at bats, including two doubles, one home run, 12 runs batted in and 15 runs scored… Also walked 16 times for a .357 on-base percentage… Finished third on team in walks, tied for fourth in hits, tied for fifth in runs scored and sixth in RBIs... Went 4-for-4 with three runs scored, a double plus two walks in second game of doubleheader against Marian on April 8.

High School: Four-year letter winner on baseball team and also lettered one year each in football, basketball and wrestling… Captain on the baseball team as a senior and was a four-time all-district selection… Honor roll student.

Personal: Born June 27, 1997… Son of Tony & Jodi Punzel and has one brother (Tony) and three sisters (Kristin, Kelsie and Brooke)… Majoring in business administration.
