2017: As a freshman posted an excellent 10-4 mark in singles play while competing at No. 4, 5 and 6 flights, highlighted by a 7-1 mark at No. 5 singles plus a 2-1 mark in No. 6 singles… Finished 3-13 in doubles play, competing in No. 1 and No. 2 flights, including a 2-6 mark at No. 1 doubles with fellow freshman Ellie Roe… Finished second in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference among No. 5 singles players in win percentage (.875) and third in wins, and also was seventh in the conference among players at all flights in win percentage… Recipient of NACC scholar-athlete award.

High School: Participated in tennis, basketball and softball and was a two-year letter winner on tennis team… Sectional finalist as a junior at No. 3 doubles and sectional semifinalist as a senior at No. 2 doubles… Member of conference runner-up teams as a junior and senior.

Personal: Born Nov. 18, 1998… Daughter of Jason & Amy Wesemann and has one sister (Cassidy)… Majoring in elementary education.
 

Career ambition/goal: Elementary school teacher
Favorite food: Corn on the cob and steak
Favorite athlete: Zack Greinke (MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers)
Greatest sports accomplishment: A win against Stoughton in subsectionals to advance to sectionals
Why did you choose Lakeland? I wanted to attend a smaller school and Lakeland had a great education program and a tennis program I wanted to be a part of!
