2016: Started all 11 games at quarterback for the second straight year… Completed 181 of 306 passes for 2,657 yards and 22 touchdowns, and also rushed 148 times for 426 yards and nine touchdowns… Named first team all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and NACC Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight year after finishing second in conference in passing touchdowns and rushing touchdowns, third in passing yards, passing yards/game (241.5) and completions and fifth in completion percentage (59.2%)… Broke his own school single-game record for total offense with 576 yards against eventual NACC co-champion Aurora Nov. 5… His 478 yards passing against Albion Sept. 17 were the third-most in a game in school history… Three-time NACC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 20, Nov. 1, Nov. 8)… Passed for at least 300 yards in five games… His 3,083 yards of total offense were third-most in a season in Lakeland history… Finished in the top 50 in NCAA Division III in seven individual statistical categories… Received NACC Scholar-Athlete Award... Enters his senior season ranked in the top five in a number of all-time categories at Lakeland, including second in total offense (7,404), fourth in completions (455) and passing touchdowns (59) and fifth in passing yards (6,101) and attempts (754).
2015: Started all 11 games and had one of the greatest seasons by a quarterback in Lakeland history… Completed 260 of 427 passes for 3,257 yards and 34 touchdowns, and also rushed 186 times for 640 yards and 15 touchdowns… Named first team all-NACC and NACC Offensive Player of the Year after leading conference in passing yards, passing yards/game (296.1), touchdown passes, total offense (3,897), total offense/game (354.3), yards per passing attempt (7.6), passing attempts and rushing touchdowns and tied for first in completions… Set school record for total offense in a season and set a school single-game record for total offense with 520 yards against Benedictine Nov. 14… Also tied a school record with six touchdown passes in one game vs. Trine Oct. 17, 2015… His 438 yards passing against Trine were the fifth-most in a game in school history… Five-time NACC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 5, Oct. 12, Oct. 19, Oct. 26, Nov. 9), and became first player in conference history to win the award four straight weeks when he swept October awards…Passed for at least 300 yards in six games, had four games with at least four touchdown passes, rushed for 100 yards twice and also had four games with at least two touchdown rushes, including four TD runs against Aurora Oct. 24… Passing completions, yardage and touchdown totals all were the second-most in school history, and his rushing touchdown total was fifth-most in Lakeland history… Finished in the top 15 in NCAA Division III in six individual statistical categories, including points responsible for (2nd), points responsible for/game (3rd), total offense/game (4th), passing yards (7th), passing touchdowns (tie-7th) and passing yards/game (13th), and in the top 50 nationally in nine categories… Received NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.
2014: Played in seven games as the Muskies’ backup quarterback… Completed 14 of 21 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns… Also rushed 38 times for 237 yards, an average of 6.2 yards per carry… Ranked second on team in rushing yards… Threw first career collegiate touchdown pass Oct. 4 against Wisconsin Lutheran, and came off the bench to rush for 117 yards on 13 carries in Muskies’ win over Aurora on Oct. 24… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.
High School: Four-year letter winner in football and basketball and also lettered one year in baseball… Team captain for two years in football and three years on basketball team… MVP of football team as a senior, when he was named all-state in Louisiana… MVP of basketball team as a junior… Member of National Honor Society.
