2018: Pitched in 14 games, starting nine… Posted a 1-7 record with a 5.69 earned run average… In 35 2/3 innings allowed 64 hits and 41 runs (29 earned) with 17 strikeouts and nine walks… Tossed two complete games, including a five-inning shutout allowing just three hits against Northland on Feb. 24… Tied for team lead in games started and was second in strikeouts and tied for second in complete games… Also batted three times and posted one hit against UW-Oshkosh Feb. 25. 

2017: Pitched in eight games, starting two, and was 1-0 with a 5.81 earned run average… Pitched 15 2/3 innings, allowing 26 hits and 14 runs (13 earned) with six strikeouts and five walks… Earned first collegiate win by throwing four innings against Mount Mary on April 11… Also batted 1-for-2 at the plate with two runs scored and one stolen base.

2016: Pitched in seven games as a freshman, starting one, and did not record a decision… In 12 1/3 innings allowed 13 hits and 15 runs (12 earned) with two strikeouts and five walks, posting an earned run average of 6.81… Also played in 11 games in the field and was 2-for-8 at the plate with one double, one run batted in and three runs scored.

High School: Two-year letter winner on softball team and also lettered two years in swimming and one year in track & field.

Personal: Born Nov. 6, 1996… Daughter of Erik & Toni Vela and has one sister (Lindsey)… Undeclared major.
