Biography

2020: Competed in three dual matches in the Muskies’ season abbreviated due to the COVID-19 virus… Posted a 0-3 record in singles play, including 0-1 at No. 3 singles and 0-2 at No. 4 singles… Also finished 0-3 at No. 2 doubles teamed up with Kengo Kanemitsu… Recipient of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2019: Started at No. 3 singles, where he posted a 0-8 record, before moving up to the No. 2 flight, where he lost five matches… Also picked up a loss at No. 4 singles on Apr. 6, 2019… Earned a 3-4 record (1-4 with Bill Behrmann, 2-0 with T.J. Corona) at No. 3 doubles before ending the year at No. 2 doubles, where he went 0-3 with T.J. Corona and 1-3 with Jacob Larson… Secured his first collegiate doubles win on Feb. 16, 2019, against Knox College.

High School: Two-year letter winner on soccer team and also participated in tennis… Academic letter winner.
 
Personal: Born March 7, 2000… Son of Jason & Joyce Smith and has two older brothers (Austin and Adam)… Also a member of the Lakeland men's soccer team... Majoring in marketing.

When not playing sports you will find me: Probably watching a documentary about either biology or history, watching sports of all varieties, or spending time with friends
Something people may not know about you: I am truly a nerd when it comes to marketing and sports. I thought it was fun to write two 11-page papers for DECA’s sports and entertainment marketing promo plan.
