2021: Played in 26 games, starting 21, and batted .240 with 18 hits in 75 at bats… Finished with four doubles, two home runs, 10 runs batted in, 15 runs scored and one stolen base… Recorded career-best two hits on three occasions, first in the opening game of a doubleheader against Concordia (Ill.) April 3… Hit first collegiate home run as part of two-hit game in second game of a twinbill at Edgewood April 12… Also pitched in three games in relief and posted a 0-1 record with a 10.38 earned run average… In 4 1/3 innings allowed 10 hits and nine runs (five earned) with three strikeouts and three walks… Threw 2 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits with three strikeouts at Viterbo March 14.
 
2020: Played in all eight games on team’s spring break trip, starting four, before remainder of season was canceled due to COVID-19 virus… Finished with two hits in 20 at bats (.100 average) with two runs scored and three runs batted in… Drove in two runs against Plymouth State (N.H.) March 11… Also pitched in one game, allowing a hit and a run with a walk against Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham (N.J.) March 8.

High School: Three-year letter winner on the baseball team and also lettered one year in football… Member of Big Rivers Conference championship team as a senior that won WIAA regional and sectional titles and qualified for state.
 
Personal: Born July 13, 1998… Son of Robert & Wendy Penny… Has one brother Tyler, who also is a member of the Lakeland baseball team… Majoring in business administration.
