High School: Three-year letter winner on football team and also lettered two years each in track & field and wrestling and one year with the Chargers Rugby Club… First team all-Big East Conference as both an offensive and defensive lineman as a senior and also a second team all-conference pick on offensive line as a junior… WIAA sectional qualifier in wrestling as a senior and track & field as a sophomore… Captain on football team as a senior… Academic letter winner… High honor roll student and finished in top 10 in his senior class.
 
Personal: Son of Dave & Becky Wensink and has two brothers (Zach and Sam) and one sister (Emily)… Majoring in business administration.

Why did you choose Lakeland? They are local and had great scholarship opportunities to lower the cost of college
Something people may not know about you: All three of my older siblings went to Dordt University (in Sioux Center, Iowa) and both of my parents went to Northwestern College in Orange City (Iowa), so I’m the weird one of my family that chose to be different.
