2013: Pitched in five varsity games as a freshman, starting four... Posted a 1-1 record with a 6.17 earned run average... Pitched 23 1/3 innings and allowed 29 hits and 16 runs (all earned), striking out 13 and walking 16.

High School: Three-year letter winner in baseball and basketball and also lettered two years in football… Two-time All-Eastern Wisconsin Conference selection on baseball team, including second team all-conference as a senior… Team captain on basketball and football teams… honorable mention all-conference in basketball as a senior.

Personal: Born Dec. 29, 1993… Son of Mike & Barb Schmitt and has one brother (Ryan) and one sister (Erin)… Majoring in business management.
