2018: Played in 28 games, starting all 28, and batted .350 with 35 hits in 100 at bats… Doubled six times and hit one home run with 12 runs batted in, 15 runs scored and one stolen base… Led team in batting average and was second in hits and runs scored and tied for second in doubles… Posted 13 multi-hit games, with a high of three hits on four occasions... Enters his senior year with a career .324 batting average, good for eighth-best in Lakeland baseball history… Also pitched in eight games, starting all eight, and posted a 1-6 record with a 6.33 earned run average… In 42 2/3 innings allowed 54 hits and 38 runs (30 earned) with 32 strikeouts and 20 walks… Led team in games started, innings pitched and strikeouts… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2017: Played in 27 games, starting 26, and batted .293 with 27 hits in 92 at bats… Finished with five doubles, one home run, 18 runs batted in and 15 runs scored plus two stolen bases… Finished second on team in RBIs, third in hits and batting average, tied for fourth in doubles and tied for fifth in runs scored… Also was in the team’s pitching rotation, appearing in 10 games and starting nine… Posted a 3-5 record with a 6.94 earned run average, throwing 46 2/3 innings and allowing 81 hits and 41 runs (36 earned) with 30 strikeouts and 16 walks… Led team in games started, innings pitched and strikeouts and tied for lead in wins… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2016: Played in 31 games as a freshman, starting all 31, and batted .325 with 37 hits in 114 at bats… Hit six doubles and two home runs, drove in 24 runs and scored 16 runs… Finished second on team in hits and RBIs, third in batting average, doubles and at bats and fourth in games started… Also pitched in eight games, starting seven, and posted a 1-4 record with a 6.90 earned run average… In 44 1/3 innings pitched allowed 68 hits and 40 runs (34 earned) with 28 strikeouts and 14 walks… Finished second on team in games started, innings pitched and strikeouts and tied for third in appearances… Named to the NACC All-Freshman Team at third base… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

High School: Two-year letter winner on baseball team and also lettered three years in football… Honorable mention all-conference in baseball as a senior… Scholar-athlete award winner.

Personal: Born March 11, 1997… Son of Jim & Cindy Hilburn and has one sister (Danielle)… Majoring in hospitality management.
