Lakeland: Kowalczyk is in his first year with the Muskie baseball team. He also was a member of the football team for two years.

High School: Four-year letter winner in wrestling and also lettered three years each in baseball and football... Team captain and First Team All-Central Wisconsin Conference in football and baseball as a senior... Three-time team captain and four-time conference and regional champion in wrestling, where he also was a two-time state qualifier and placed as high as third in the state.

Personal: Born July 21, 1993... Son of Dan & Lori Kowalczyk and has two brothers (Craig and Kyle)... Majoring in exercise science and sport studies.
