High School: Three-year letter winner on baseball team and also lettered one year each in football and basketball… Three times named All-Central Wisconsin Conference, including first team all-conference as a senior, when he was named conference MVP… Team captain on baseball team.
Personal: Born April 3, 1990… Son of Harold & Petie Cherney and has three brothers (Mike, Andy and Scott) and two sisters (Susan and Jodee)… Majoring in business management.
My greatest sports accomplishment is: Winning MVP my senior year.
Most influential people: My parents because they are always very supportive.
2012: Played in ten games in field, starting six, and batted .185 with five hits in 27 at bats… Scored five runs and added two doubles and six runs batted in… Also pitched in relief in five games and posted a 0-1 record with a 0.71 earned run average… Pitched 12 2/3 innings and allowed ten hits and four runs (one earned) while striking out two and walking five… 2011: Played in 15 games, starting 11, and batted .229 with eight hits in 35 at bats… Eight runs scored, two doubles and one run batted in... 2010: Played in two games in the field and was hitless in two at bats… Also pitched in three games, making one start, and was 0-1 with a 24.43 earned run average… Pitched seven innings and allowed 18 hits and 19 runs (all earned) while striking out two and walking two.
