2018: Pitched in three games, starting two, and posted a 1-1 record with a 7.90 earned run average… In 13 2/3 innings allowed 20 hits and 13 runs (12 earned) with seven strikeouts and three walks… Threw seven-inning complete game, allowing five hits and two runs with four strikeouts against Hiram (Ohio) March 10.

2017: Pitched in eight games as a freshman, starting five, and posted a 3-2 record with a 9.53 earned run average… In 28 1/3 innings allowed 49 hits and 32 runs (30 earned) with 19 strikeouts and 10 walks… Pitched one complete game… Tied for team lead in wins and finished second in strikeouts, tied for third in games started, fourth in innings pitched and tied for fourth in appearances… Earned first collegiate win by throwing 5 1/3 innings against Finlandia (Mich.) on April 1, and followed that up with a seven-inning complete game allowing just six hits and one run with six strikeouts against Maranatha Baptist on April 6.

High School: Four-year participant in baseball and basketball and lettered two years in baseball and one year in basketball… member of South Central Conference championship team as a junior.

Personal: Born April 20, 1998… Son of Greg & Maryann Royce and has three brothers (Clifton, Kendall and Craig) and one sister (Sarah)… Undeclared major.
