2025: In his first year with the Muskies pitched in eight games, starting one… Finished without a decision, posting a 10.54 earned run average in 13 2/3 innings… Allowed 23 hits and 17 runs (16 earned) with nine strikeouts and 12 walks… Pitched two scoreless innings against Albertus Magnus (Conn.) on spring break trip to Florida March 14, walking two and striking out one… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

Minnesota West CTC: Scherbring transferred to Lakeland after spending two years at Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Worthington, Minn., where he pitched in 15 games over two years and posted a 2-3 record with 27 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings pitched, including a 3.47 ERA as a freshman.

High School: Two-year letter winner on baseball team.

Personal: Son of Christopher & Kara Scherbring and has one brother (Isaac)… Majoring in business administration.

Why did you choose Lakeland? I chose Lakeland because it seemed like the correct fit for me with the tight community here. I wanted to go somewhere not too big or small and Lakeland was the perfect place.
