2016: Pitched in seven games as a freshman, starting four, and was 1-3 with a 9.15 earned run average… Pitched 20 2/3 innings and allowed 36 hits and 26 runs (21 earned) with 15 strikeouts and eight walks… Finished third on team in strikeouts and tied for fourth in games started.

High School: Played baseball and football and also wrestled for one year… All-conference baseball player… Three-time academic all-state selection in football.
