2015: Started all 39 games and batted .287 with 35 hits in 122 at bats… Finished with seven doubles, one triple, one home run, 15 runs batted in, 18 runs scored and seven stolen bases… Led team in batting average, RBIs and stolen bases and finished tied for second in doubles and runs scored, third in hits and fourth in at bats.

2014: Played in 30 games, starting all 30, and batted .279 with 24 hits in 86 at bats… Finished with two doubles, one triple, 14 runs batted in, 12 runs scored and seven stolen bases… Finished third on team in RBIs and stolen bases, fourth in batting average and runs scored and tied for fifth in runs scored… Also pitched in six games, starting four, and was 0-4 with a 7.82 earned run average and one save… Pitched 25 1/3 innings and allowed 34 hits and 27 runs (22 earned) with 15 strikeouts and 14 bases on balls.

2013: Played in 13 games in the field, starting 10... Batted .229 with eight hits in 35 at bats, including one double, one triple, five RBIs and five runs scored... Also pitched in seven games, starting six, and was 0-5 with a 7.02 earned run average... In 33 1/3 innings allowed 41 hits and 31 runs (26 earned) while striking out 27 and walking 29.

High School: Four-year letter winner on baseball team, also lettered three years in basketball… Three-time All-Capitol Conference selection in baseball, including conference Player of the Year as a senior… All-area in baseball as a senior and three-time team MVP on baseball team… Also a two-time all-conference selection in basketball, including first team all-conference and all-area and Honorable Mention All-State as a senior… Honor roll student.

Personal: Born July 13, 1994… Son of Kent & Marsha Rear and has one sister (Karlyn)… Majoring in exercise science and sport studies and business.
