Citrus College: Maldonado is in his first year with the Muskies and is a transfer from Citrus Community College in Glendora, Calif., where he pitched in 32 games-all but one in relief-over the past two years for the Owls. Maldonado posted a 0-3 record with one save and a 6.43 earned run average, pitching 46 2/3 innings and allowing 59 hits, 36 runs (33 earned) with 28 strikeouts and 26 walks.

High School: Three-year letter winner on baseball team… First team all-conference and defensive player of the year award winner.

Personal: Son of Mario & Vanessa Maldonado… Majoring in exercise science.
