2016: Played in 17 games, starting 15, and batted .333 with 17 hits in 51 at bats… Hit one double, drove in three runs and scored six times… From behind the plate threw out nine of 29 runners attempting to steal.

2015: Played in 14 games, starting 13, and batted .167 with seven hits in 42 at bats… Finished with one double, four runs batted in, one run scored and one stolen base.

2014: Played in three varsity games… Was hitless in two at bats and also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly…. Also pitched in one game and threw 2 2/3 scoreless innings with a strikeout.

High School: Three-year letter winner in football and track and also lettered two years in basketball.

Personal: Born May 17, 1995... Son of Ken & Dianne Pekarek and has one brother (Mike Vaneffen) and two sisters (Steph Vaneffen and Kim Pekarek)... Majoring in exercise science and sport studies.
