2023: As a freshman appeared in seven games, primarily as one of the Muskies’ top special teams players… Made five tackles (four solo, one assisted), including a high of three tackles in his collegiate debut against UW-Platteville Aug. 31… Blocked a punt against Wisconsin Lutheran Oct. 7… Forced a fumble against Eureka in season finale Nov. 11.

High School: Four-year letter winner on football team… All-conference performer as a senior… Academic honors student all four years.

Personal: Son of Randy & Heidi Spens and has two brothers (Kaydon and Oaklee) and a twin sister (Brynnleigh)… Brother Oaklee also attends Lakeland and is a standout on the Muskies baseball team… Majoring in criminal justice and psychology.
