Lakeland alum DaJarrie (D.J.) Tomlinson is in his second year as an assistant coach with the football program and will coach the team’s defensive line again in 2024.
Tomlinson returned to the program after playing for the Muskies for four years from 2018-21. He appeared in 21 games, rotating in on the defensive line his first three years before becoming a starter as a senior, when he had his best year with 29 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.
Tomlinson is a native of Milwaukee and a 2022 graduate from Lakeland with a degree in business administration. He worked for two years at Lakeland as a coop education operations specialist and currently works as a loyalty program specialist for Piggly Wiggly.
