Eric Treske is in his fourth year as an assistant with the Lakeland football team and this year will again serve as the team's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Treske returned to the Lakeland coaching staff last year after previously serving as a graduate assistant. In his first year back, he teamed with co-coordinator Tyler Wellman to run an offense that was the most powerful in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Muskies led the NACC in scoring, passing yards, passing touchdowns and first downs on their way to an 8-3 overall record, an undefeated conference mark and a trip to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
Treske coached the Muskies wide receivers as a graduate assistant from 2011-13 and also served as strength and conditioning coach He earned his master's degree in counseling from Lakeland before returning to alma mater Wisconsin Lutheran, where he was an assistant the past two seasons.
At WLC, Treske worked with the wide receivers both years, and also assumed the roles of special teams coordinator and strength & conditioning coordinator. He also also served as a residence counselor at the school.
Treske was a four-year letterwinner (2004-2007) as a wide receiver and return man on the WLC football team. He ranks fourth in school history with 110 receptions and fifth all-time with 1,334 receiving yards. Treske was the Warriors' leading receiver both his junior and senior year, combining for over 1,100 yards and seven touchdowns.
While at WLC, Treske was an all-conference selection and was twice named the Warriors' most inspirational player. He received a bachelor's degree in communication in 2008.
Treske joined the Wisconsin Lutheran coaching staff as an assistant in 2008 before becoming wide receivers coach in 2010 at his alma mater, Cedarburg High School when the Bulldogs were state runners-up. Treske also played two seasons of arena football in the CIFL.
As a high school student-athlete at Cedarburg, Treske was a two-year all-conference performer as a running back and quarterback. He also lettered in basketball and track & field.
Treske resides in Cedarburg with his son, Caiden.
