Trevor Tanck is in his first year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland football team and will assist coaching the team’s defensive linemen, with an emphasis on defensive ends.
Tanck is no stranger to the Muskies, as he had a distinguished four-year career as a defensive end with the team from 2011-14. He was a three-year starter and a two-time All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First Team selection and concluded his career with 125 tackles, a total that included 35.5 tackles for loss with 15 sacks. He twice led the team in tackles for loss and paced the squad in sacks as a junior.
Tanck is a native of Door County from Baileys Harbor, Wis., and is a graduate of Gibraltar High School. His brother Austin is currently a member of the Muskies. Trevor graduated from Lakeland with a degree in religion and political science.
