Holmes is in his first season with the Muskies. He previously played collegiately for one year at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Iowa Wesleyan: Holmes played in nine games for the Tigers as a running back in 2014, rushing 20 times for 85 yards. He also made four tackles on special teams.

High School: Member of the football team for four years and participated in track & field for three years… Team captain for football, where he was named all-conference… Honor roll student.

Personal: Born Nov. 28, 1995… Son of Kermit Bates and has two brothers (Tyreese and Tyran)… Majoring in exercise science.
