2017: Played in all 11 games as a reserve defensive lineman… Made 17 tackles (eight solo, nine assisted), including 2.5 tackles for loss with one-half sack… Posted career high with five tackles in season opener against Carroll on Sept. 2… Recovered a fumble Nov. 4 against Concordia Chicago.

2016: Martinez played his first year with the Muskies after transferring from Monmouth (Ill.) College, where he was a member of the Fighting Scots in 2014... Appeared in four games as a reserve defensive lineman... Made two assisted tackles, both coming in his debut against Wisconsin-Platteville Sept. 24.

High School: Lettered two years in football, one year in wrestling and also participated in track & field.

Personal: Born June 18, 1992… Son of Sergio & Emma Martinez and has three brothers (Jose, Sergio and Christian)… Brother Christian is also a member of the Lakeland football team… Majoring in biology.
