Biography

2016: Started all 11 games at right tackle for second straight season, extending his consecutive games started streak to 22… Played on an offensive line that paved way to a conference championship and was named honorable mention all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, one of four Muskies’ linemen to receive all-conference recognition.

2015: Moved from tight end to the offensive line and became a starter as a sophomore, starting all 11 games at right tackle, one of just 10 players on the team to start every game… Also made one solo tackle.

2014: Played in two varsity games as a freshman as a reserve tight end.

High School: Four-year letter winner in football and basketball and also lettered three years in track & field… Team captain on both football and basketball teams… First Team All-Mid-Peninsula Conference as a tight end… Invited to U.P. All-Star football game… Honor roll student.

Personal: Born Feb. 22, 1996… Son of James & Peggy Merrill and has two brothers (Joey and Eliot)… Undeclared major.
