2016: Played in four games, starting all four at wide receiver spot before season was cut short due to injury… Caught seven passes for 59 yards… Also returned five kickoffs for 95 yards… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2015: Played in all 11 games, starting five, and played as a wide receiver and returner on special teams… Caught 25 passes for 363 yards (14.5 yards per reception) and three touchdowns… Finished third on team in receiving touchdowns, fourth in receiving yards and fifth in catches… Made first collegiate touchdown catch against Concordia Chicago Oct. 10… Also was team’s top kick returner, bringing back 28 kicks for 627 yards at a 22.4 yard average… Led NACC in kick return yards and ranked second in average return… Named honorable mention all-NACC as a kick returner, receiving conference honors as a returner for the second straight year… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award. 

2014: Played in all 10 games as a freshman, starting one and participating on return teams and as a back-up wide receiver… Caught one pass for 25 yards, making first collegiate catch Oct. 24 against Aurora… Also returned 13 kickoffs for 287 yards and one touchdown, leading Lakeland in all three categories… Scoring first collegiate TD with a 93-yard kickoff return Sept. 20 against Hope (Mich.), after which he was named NACC Special Teams Player of the Week… Second team all-NACC selection as a return specialist.

High School: Two-year letter winner on the football team and also lettered four years in track & field… Member of OAA White Conference championship team... Named an honorable mention all-area pick by the Farmington Observer as a junior and senior... Led Class A Division 2 in interceptions as a junior... Member of district championship team as a senior.

Personal: Born April 7, 1996… Son of Parke & Tracy Petersen and has two brothers (Avery and Tegan)… Majoring in accounting.
