David Park

David Park enters his first year as the full-time assistant coach for the Lakeland University men's basketball program, in 2023-24. He also will be an assistant with the Lakeland men's golf program.

Park cames to Lakeland after serving last year as a graduate assistant coach at Concordia University Ann Arbor in Ann Arbor, Mich. He began his coaching career there and comes from the same place where previous Muskies assistant Eddie Goldston was an assistant.

Park played basketball collegiately at NCAA Division I University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was a member of the UMBC team that as a No. 16 seed stunned top-ranked Virginia in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. He then transferred to Embry-Riddle, where he was a part of the Eagles team for four years playing under legendary coach Steve Ridder. He was a member of a pair of teams that advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament, including as a senior when was a regular in the rotation for a team that advanced to the round of 16 in the national tournament.
